The CoreCodec CoreAVC High Definition H.264 video codec is based on the MPEG4 Part 10 standard
and is one of the codecs used in Bluray and in HDDVD. AVC/H.264 is the nextgenerationstandard for video,
and CoreAVC is being recognized as being the worlds fastest H.264 software video decoder.
The version 1.9.5.0 comes with improved CUDA support which is great news for all people having a
newer nVidiabased video card that supports the CUDA technology. Anyway the efficiency of CoreAVC in software mode
is often compared to be faster than other solutions that try to rely on hardware accelerated decompression
to increase playback performance of H.264 video, so even if you own ATIbased video card it is ok,
although your CPU will be much more loaded
